Mr. Mahmud Ahmad started BTB when there was a concept of style and poignancy associated with travel back in the late 60's.
From there on he focussed on his vision of steadily taking BTB to important cities in Pakistan like Islamabad and Lahore from where we were able to provide contiuous and similar service standards to corporations based out of there. Apart from that facilitating National companies was the need of the day and with a country-wide presence BTB again edged other companies and grabbed a greater market share.
Mr. Ahmad has held many important national and international positions within the trade such as being chairman TAAP twice, Director UFTAA, President ASTA Pakistan Chapter, and has been a key adviser on many travel related policies through out his tenure.
BTB offices in the North are overseen by the leadership of Mr. Mansoor Akhtar(GM, ISB) and Mr. Andleeb Shadani(GM, LHE) who have been with the Company since many years and also worked with selfless determination and energy to guide our office in Islamabad and Lahore to rank amongst the Top BTCs of North Pakistan. Regularly winning laurels from GDSs' and Airlines, both these gentleman have always wanted to be a success story. That has transformed into a success story for BTB making it possible to remain in the news for all the right reasons. Solid growth has been acheived over the years and there are continuous improvemets in all areas on an on-going basis. |
Overall the business activities and decision making is done with complete consultation of the entire team headed by the Managing Director, Moiz Saleem Ahmad.
A graduate from the USA, Mr. Ahmad brings with him fresh and unique ideas to the table. With a lot of changes happening globally it is important to stay ahead and know your surroundings to make the right decisions. Heading an established Company is always challenging and new ideas and innovations are always difficult to be accepted, as there are always dangers of the unknown lurking at the back of our minds.
